Debate

Should we in the Church talk about "marriage" rather than "Christian Marriage"? The Very Reverend Michael Burrows, Dean of Cork, Canon Jonathan Barry and Mr Dermot O'Callaghan debate the issue. The Marriage Course

A series of eight sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship.

The course is resourced by Holy Trinity Brompton and can easily be run by a parish with some willing volunteers.

The evening starts with a candlelit dinner followed by a talk. Many venues will use a video for this rather than give the talk themselves. Couples have plenty of opportunity to discuss the material and are given a little homework for next time! There is no group work involved at any stage.

The Marriage Course is very practical and will help equip couples with the tools needed to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

Unfortunately the Council cannot respond to individual requests for advice and counselling.
