Those in broken homes

O God, your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, blessed the marriage at Cana of Galilee with His presence and miraculously turned water into wine.
Transform the pain and agony of those in broken homes
into forgiveness and mutual understanding.
Amid all the confusion of the world in which we live,
grant that your guiding hand may rest upon all who harbour hatred or bitterness and surround all who need your help with your healing love.
This we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heavenly Father, we pray for all children whose lives have been scarred by family break-up because of death, separation or divorce.
Heal their deep wounds and surround them with your fatherly love, that they might feel secure once more and learn to love others without fear.

We are a broken, divided family of lonely individuals, each alone.

O God of our salvation, you alone are our hope.

Your love breaks down walls that isolate and divide us.

Your love heals, forgives and makes us whole again.

Restore us, O God of our salvation.

Reconcile us, that we may be a family, and live.
