Lord we cry to you in the pain of our childlessness,
like your servant Hannah, pouring out our souls to you.
You understand our longing and our grief; please meet us in the depth of our need.
We would dare to ask again for the gift of conception and for a child. Please bless us with a family.

Lord we're waiting, and it's hard.
Knowing that your ways are not our ways or your thoughts our thoughts,
we ask for the gift of your healing peace if your will is not for conception.
We pray for your guidance regarding any steps we should take in the future.
Lead us forward together to discover your good, perfect and pleasing will.
